Welcome back to FTW’s Survivor Pool picks, where we are 10-0 and rolling right along after the Dallas Cowboys rolled over the New York Giants in Week 10.
This week, I’ll be employing a bit of strategy with my pick, because the best team I haven’t used yet — the Detroit Lions — is my favorite pick the next two weeks. But because I feel less confident about my would-be second favorite in Week 12, I’m saving the Lions and rolling with someone else. And while I don’t feel great about the team I’m picking, I’m comforted by knowing it’s another game against the Giants.
Before we get to Week 11, here’s a look at where things stand:
Record: 10-0
Already used: Ravens, Bills, Chiefs, 49ers, Dolphins, Rams, Seahawks, Chargers, Saints, Cowboys

San Francisco 49ers (vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers)

The 49ers got their groove back in Week 10, and though Tampa is a team that typically keeps games close — +5 point differential despite a 4-5 record — they aren’t in the same weight class as the Niners.
4
Detroit Lions (vs. Chicago Bears)
The Bears are getting Justin Fields back, but it’s not like they were great with him to begin with. Now, he has to try to pick things up on the road against one of the very best teams in the NFL. Good luck with that.

Miami Dolphins (vs. Las Vegas Raiders)

The Raiders are on a nice little winning streak and have to feel good about the way things are going, but good times don’t last. Especially not when you have to travel cross-country to play against this Dolphins offense. I don’t love Vegas’ chances.

Dallas Cowboys (at Carolina Panthers)

For my money, this is the most lopsided matchup in a week full of them. Dallas’ defense is going to give Bryce Young such a hard time, which is all the more concerning considering the Panthers will likely be playing from behind all game.

Washington Commanders (vs. New York Giants)

Listen, the Commanders aren’t the best team in the NFL, but they aren’t terrible either. But more importantly, you know who is terrible? The Giants. That’s who. The Giants are a wreck, and they’re rolling Tommy DeVito at quarterback again. So I like the home team to come out on top.
