HAPPY KENTUCKY DERBY DAY!

As of publishing this, it’s the morning of the 2023 Kentucky Derby.

The weather, which showed possible rain for Saturday earlier in the week, now looks clearer.

So it’s a good time to update the odds that were set on Monday after the post position draw. These will continue to change right up until the moments before the horses and jockeys line up in the starting gates, so this is more of a snapshot of how things are changing. We’ll do another update this afternoon.

Derby favorite Forte (3-1) was the latest horse scratched, joining Practical Move, Skinner, Continuar and Lord Miles. The field is now down to 18 horses.
