Get ready to start figuring out which of the 2023 Kentucky Derby horses loves running in the mud (“His mother was a mudder?” — Seinfeld).
Because according to weather reports — including from Weather.com — indicate that rain is in the forecast.
There’s a 41 percent chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms on Friday, then a 60 percent chance of rain on Saturday with “a chance of thunderstorms.”
Hopefully that won’t ruin too many of the amazing looks we’ll see on Saturday that include so many of the best hats. And maybe those hats will provide a bit of rain cover … if it actually participates. We’ll keep you updated as the week goes on.
