Fans reacted to Jontay Porter's lifetime NBA ban by making so many jokes about his old tweets

The NBA announced on Wednesday that it was banning now-former Raptors forward Jontay Porter for life after an investigation into suspicious gambling activities revealed that he manipulated his own performance for betting purposes and placed bets on Raptors games.

From the moment the story came out, it didn’t look great for Porter – a bench player who averaged 3.7 points per game. And the details were even worse.

But even as the NBA has to confront the difficult reality of legalized sports gambling and player props for role players, we can always count on NBA Twitter to make light of the situation.

After the Porter ban was announced, NBA fans took a dive into Porter’s Twitter/X account. And let’s just say that the results did not disappoint.

This was how Twitter reacted
