7 fantasy football players you should trade for in 2023 as buy-low candidates

For many fantasy football leagues, the trade deadline is approaching fast, giving contenders the chance to upgrade beyond the waiver wire.

So here’s your guide if you’re a buyer or contender, with some players who you can buy somewhat low on based on performance and strength of schedule.

The result? We found some quarterbacks, running backs and wide receivers for you to make offers on if you can. Obviously, this all depends on where you’re at in the standings, whether you’re in a dynasty league and so forth.

With all that in mind, let’s dive in with some names to trade for (and check out our list of sell-high candidates to trade away)

1
WR Marquise Brown, Arizona Cardinals

With Kyler Murray potentially returning, that’s good news for the Cardinals offense. And with games against opponents like the Falcons, Texans and Bears, their strength of schedule isn’t too bad.

RB Kyren Williams, Los Angeles Rams

He’s eligible to return from IR by Week 12, so if there’s someone stashing him in your league who’s willing to trade him, go for it.

3
QB Jared Goff, Detroit Lions

He’s coming off a bye with a Swiss cheesy schedule: the Chargers, Bears twice, Packers, Broncos and Vikings are ahead. Take advantage if someone wants to unload him.

Justin Fields could be back either this week or next, so you would assume Moore’s needle will point up when that happens.

See above. A rising tide etc etc.

The true definition of buying low. He’s been underwhelming to say the least, so maybe he turns it on in the latter half of the  season. Maybe you convince his manager that he shouldn’t cost much in a trade.

WR Puka Nacua, Los Angeles Rams

He’s got a bye this week and is coming off two meh games. That’s what you can cite as you hope he continues to be the No. 2 target for Matthew Stafford if the QB returns healthy in Week 11.
