Week 9 of the 2023 NFL season is nearly over, with one more game to go on Monday night.
And if you play fantasy football, you’re already planning ahead with waivers after a busy slate of games.
That’s what we’re here for, a roundup of some of the players you could be targeting ahead of Week 10.
Some of the names below might be taken already, but if not, there are a bunch of dudes who could change your fantasy fortunes this season. Let’s run through them, in no particular order, and we’ll update this after the Los Angeles Chargers and New York Jets play on Monday Night Football.

Remember when you stashed him on IR and then let him go? Time to go get him after a nine-carry, 138-yard performance to go along with a touchdown. Gus Edwards is still probably top dog, with Justice Hill getting in the mix. But Mitchell is intriguing.

Kyle Pitts had an OK day, but it was Smith who shined with Taylor Heinicke under center for five catches and 100 yards plus a score.

RB Leonard Fournette, Buffalo Bills

He’s a great bench stash candidate if you have the room on your bench. He could slide in behind James Cook and get some goal-line work later in the season.
4
WR Tank Dell, Houston Texans

Some people dropped him as he was quiet for a few weeks. After an explosive Week 9, he’s absolutely a must-roster.

WR Noah Brown, Houston Texans

There are a lot of mouths to feed in Houston, but I’d take a flier here after his 153-yard day that included a touchdown.

QB Joshua Dobbs, Minnesota Vikings

Hey now! If he did THAT with not a single practice rep, imagine what he’ll do with a week of work with his new team … and oh yeah, Justin Jefferson will come back soon enough.
