He won a Super Bowl as head coach of the Raiders and called so many more as one of the best broadcasters to ever do it. Many from later generations will remember Madden for being the namesake of one of the best sports video games off all time.
For many of us, his voice reminds us of so many Sunday afternoons watching he and Pat Summerall calling the biggest games of the week. He made games so darn fun to watch and he’s going to be forever missed.
