2020 NFL Draft Big Board: The consensus top 40 players

The 2020 NFL Draft is just seven weeks away, and several players are seeing their draft stock soaring after standout performances at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis.

Joe Burrow and Chase Young are expected to be the first two players selected on April 23rd – but some analysts believe the Redskins could look to draft former Alabama star Tua Tagovailoa with the second overall pick. There’s been some serious movement in mock drafts following the combine, and the first round is loaded with talent.

To determine the top players available, we analyzed seven 2020 mock drafts from around the internet – the latest revisions from For The Win, USA TODAY, Draftwire, Pro Football Focus, CBS Sports, ESPN’s Todd McShay and The Ringer – and found each player’s average draft position.

A total of 54 different players appeared as first round selections across the mock drafts we reviewed. If a player was left out of one of the mock drafts, he was assigned a value of 33 for each absence to determine his draft average.
