The 2020 NBA All-Star Game rosters are set, and the best players in the league will face off on February 16th in Chicago in a revamped game with $500,000 for charity riding on the outcome. The NBA announced a completely new format for the All-Star Game this week, which will now be played with an untimed fourth quarter and will include a built-in tribute to Kobe Bryant. You can read about all of the new rules here.
The All-Star reserves were revealed on Thursday night, and there were a few notable snubs from the lineup. Wizards guard Bradley Beal, who is averaging 28.7 points per game this season, did not earn his first career All-Star selection. In the West, both Devin Booker and Paul George were left out of the lineup. The 14 reserves were selected by NBA coaches.
All-Star team captains LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo will pick their teams in a live draft on February 6th (7:00 p.m. ET, TNT).
