The NBA announced its three All-NBA teams on Wednesday, and to no one’s surprise, reigning league MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo and Lakers superstar LeBron James were unanimous first-team selections, garnering 100 first-place votes each.
For James, the All-NBA selection is his 16th career All-NBA nod, and his 13th first-team selection. Antetokounmpo has already been named the Defensive Player of the Year for the 2019-20 season, and is widely expected to win a second consecutive MVP award.
James’ teammate Anthony Davis was also named to the first-team – making them the first teammates to earn first-team selections since Steve Nash and Amar’e Stoudemire.
