Zion Williamson officially entered the NBA on Thursday night in the Barclays Center at the 2019 NBA Draft, and the New Orleans Pelicans marked the start of a new era in franchise history by selecting the former Duke star with the No. 1 overall pick.
The first three picks in the draft aren’t expected to include any surprises, with Ja Morant and R.J. Barrett at the top of most draft boards, but things should get interesting very quickly.
