Tiger Woods returned to Augusta National this week with aspirations of putting on another green jacket, telling the media he had one more in him before the Masters teed of on Thursday.

In order to make that a reality, he first had to make the cut on Friday. This alone would be a tremendous feat as a made cut would give him 24 consecutive at the famed tournament, breaking a record held by Fred Couples and Gary Player.
As if there were any doubt, Tiger made it to the weekend with plenty of room to spare. Woods (+110 to make the cut at BetMGM) finished his first two rounds 73-72 (one over par) to avoid the projected cut at four over par.
He was absolutely crushing the ball off the tee on Saturday despite having to play 24 holes. Woods’ first round on Thursday was cut short due to darkness, forcing him to finish his round early on Friday morning at 8:00 a.m. Then he had just an hour break before starting his second round.
None of it proved too daunting and we now get to watch Woods play Saturday and Sunday at Augusta once more while adding another record to his storied career.
