7 elite golfers (including Rory McIlroy!) seeking their first Masters win in 2024

As the 2024 Masters tee off this week in Augusta, there are still a number of big names across the sport still searching for their first green jacket.

Jon Rahm led this list in 2023 and after opening the first round at Augusta with a four-putt double bogey it sure seemed like he was going to stay on it.

Instead, Rahm finished his Thursday with a round of 65 and never looked back, surging past a collapsing Brooks Koepka to become the fourth Spaniard to win the famed tournament.

Maybe that will be a source of comfort to the other golf icons looking to get off this and into Masters history in 2024.
