The LSU marching band honored Jayden Daniels with a Heisman Trophy formation at halftime

LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels entered Week 13 as the odds-on favorite to win the Heisman Trophy.

Given that the Tigers won’t be playing in the SEC title game, that also meant Week 13 against Texas A&M was Daniels’ last opportunity to impress the Heisman voters before they hand out this year’s award.

Leave it to the LSU marching band to try to hype up their quarterback’s case.

At halftime on Saturday, with LSU trailing 17-14, the LSU Tiger Marching Band took the field and honored Daniels’ incredible season by lining up in a giant Heisman Trophy formation that spanned the whole gridiron.

This was awesome.

We’ll see if Daniels can actually pull out a Heisman win after the season — it all depends on how Michael Penix Jr., Bo Nix and Jalen Milroe perform in their championship games — but this was a perfect way to send out the quarterback either way.

College marching bands remain undefeated.
