Tom Brady casually being good at basketball is so on brand

Former Patriots and Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady is a future Hall of Famer, of course. He’s largely considered by many the GOAT, with Super Bowl rings and numerous awards and titles during his 23-year career. On the field, there wasn’t anything he couldn’t do.

After football, Brady’s been spending his time a bit differently. He’s been spotted at a concert with his daughter, attending lavish holiday parties with other celebrities, and even becoming a “strategic advisor” to Delta. Sure. Why not?

Now, he’s adding a new title to his resume: Certified walking bucket.

The 46-year-old recently shared footage of himself draining shot after shot.

Brady playfully quips, “In the lab! Just trying to keep up with the kids these days …” as he gets some practice in with his son. I would say I’m shocked, but I’m not.

This is entirely on brand. The guy is an athlete. (Reminder: in 1995, Brady was drafted in the 18th round of the MLB Draft by the Montreal Expos. His position of choice? Catcher).

Maybe Team USA should give Brady a call for the 2024 Olympics. Who says no to Brady teamed up with LeBron James and Steph Curry?
