2023 PGA Championship Odds: Scottie Scheffler, Jon Rahm lead favorites to win the major

The 2023 PGA Championship tees off this Thursday at the East Course of Oak Hill Country Club just outside Rochester, New York.

Given what we’ve already seen from the sport this season, it should be an absolutely electric four rounds with drama spilling over from the course to the corporate suites. More than a dozen LIV Golf defectors — including Dustin Johnson, Cam Smith, Brooks Koepka and Phil Mickelson — will be given a shot to win a trophy, and $2.7 million, from the league they turned their back on.

That’s if they can get past the tournament favorites: Scottie Scheffler (+750) and Jon Rahm (+800).

At the pace he’s playing, Rahm might be able to complete the career grand slam by the end of this season. The 2023 Masters champion has won four events already and it’s not even June. He just needs the PGA Championship and Open Championship to put a checkmark next every major title.

Defending PGA champion Justin Thomas enters Thursday +2200 to become the first player to repeat at the tournament since Koepka in 2018 and 2019. Brooks is also +2200 as he seeks his third PGA Championship. He holds the best odds of any LIV Golf player in the field.

Other notable odds on the board at the start of the week include:

  • Rory McIlroy (+1200)
  • Dustin Johnson (+2500)
  • Viktor Hovland (+3000)
  • Jordan Spieth (+3500)
  • Rickie Fowler (+5500)
  • Phil Mickelson (+15000)

Here’s a look at the full listings. Check back here as these odds will update live during the week and throughout the tournament.
