We’re in the thick of not-E3 season, where game publishers put together flashy sizzle reels and special events. Capcom is the latest challenger joining the fray.
The Capcom Showcase is happening on June 13, 2022, at 3:00 P.M. PDT // 6:00 P.M. EDT // 10:00 P.M. GMT. It’ll be streaming on the company’s official Twitch and YouTube channels.
“We’ll be diving deeper into details and news on previously announced titles,” Capcom’s announcement post reads. By that, I’m assuming Street Fighter 6 and the Resident Evil 4 remake will be there since both were announced only last week during State of Play. That, and those are two of the biggest games coming out next year in general.
Introducing the #CapcomShowcase, a new livestreamed digital event bringing you the latest #Capcom game information. Tune in on June 13, 3pm PT for around 35 minutes of news and in-depth updates on previously announced Capcom titles.https://t.co/fcLu2YjbYs pic.twitter.com/XHZu7iKJzz

It’s worth noting that Capcom is stressing previously-announced games. That means if you’re hoping for something like Dragon’s Dogma 2, then temper those expectations a bit. Follow Geoff Keighley’s advice, folks.
Capcom will also be at Summer Game Fest, though again, we don’t know what the publisher will be showing off. I’ll just nervously rock back and forth, imagining some sort of PS1-era Resident Evil collection will be there. Spoiler: I know nothing and that wasn’t a tease.
