Alex Rodriguez turned 44 years young this weekend, but the man still had to work, because those gold plated statues of himself as Adonis or whatever aren’t going to pay for themselves. (I have no idea what A-Rod spends his money on. I think he’s into investing into stuff. Anyway.)

So to celebrate that birthday, Rodriguez’s better half Jennifer Lopez, as well as his kids, snuck onto the set of ESPN’s Sunday Night Baseball to surprise him with a cake. By “snuck,” of course, I mean that ESPN and her publicist most likely carefully coordinated the entire thing. Then again, here I am posting it, so who’s the real fool here? That’s right it’s me.

Anyway, LOOK AT THE CUTE FAMILY HAVING CAKE ON TV.

Also, A-Rod is only 44? I feel like that dude could still bat .260 with 24 home runs if you gave him a season.
