March Madness is here, and Selection Sunday is near. We’ll see all 68 teams and the full bracket for the women’s NCAA tournament on March 17 at 8 p.m. on ESPN.
But before then, we can start piecing together the field by tracking the automatic qualifiers, also known as AQs. Those are earned when a team wins its conference tournament, and there’s 32 of them. The 36 other teams in the field will earn entry by earning at-large bids.
We’re going to do our best of keeping track of those AQs here. When a ticket to the Big Dance gets punched, we’ll update this.
