Usher is performing at the Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show, and millennials everywhere just pulled a muscle busting out dance moves from the 8701 album. (OK, maybe that was just me, but somebody will catch these moves!)
Usher’s been tearing up his Las Vegas residency since July 2022, bringing childlike joy to his most devoted fans. Now, he’s taking his talents to one of the world’s biggest stages.
When I saw him during his residency’s opening night, he reflectively said, “I got hits, man.” He then blazed through several songs he didn’t have enough time for in his show as a quick ode to those who’ve been with him for decades. That’s when I realized: Usher is that guy!
I put together a list of songs I think he should perform to celebrate this halftime show that is obviously curated for me to scream in my living room like I’m 13 again.
