7 players who shockingly missed the cut at the 2023 US Open

Two rounds of the 2023 U.S. Open have come and gone at Los Angeles Country Club and the top of the leaderboard is absolutely stacked heading into the weekend.

Rickie Fowler is on track to complete an epic comeback season. Wyndham Clark is in the mix for his first ever finish inside the top 10 at a major tournament. Right behind them, Rory McIlory, Xander Schauffele, Scottie Scheffler and Dustin Johnson are all lurking.

But just perhaps the most surprising development concerns which players failed to reach the weekend. Even with the cut line established at two-over-par, a number of the game’s most elite golfers found themselves headed home early. These were the biggest shockers.
