Tom Brady finally mentioned the Patriots after announcing his retirement ... but he didn't have much to say

Patriots fans were not happy after Tom Brady didn’t give them a single mention in his official retirement announcement on Tuesday.

After a few hours, he finally mentioned the team and their fans. But they’re still probably not happy with what they got. Because, to be completely honest, it just wasn’t that much.

Tom Brady finally acknowledged the Patriots after the team tweeted out a long, drawn-out statement from the organization thanking Brady for his time there and acknowledging his greatness. It was really nice and very thoughtful.

In return, he gave them…10 words. Brady got right to the point with the team.

Whew boy. This was despite that the Patriots still took the high road and released their statement.

Fans weren’t exactly thrilled with this.

To be honest, this is all probably much to do about nothing. Brady showed the Patriots love two years ago when he left.

Obviously, things aren’t the same now. But it’s pretty clear Brady has an appreciation for the Patriots and their fans.

That should be more than enough here.
