Well, now we know what Tom Brady is going to be up to when he finally retires from the NFL (a second time).
FOX Sports announced that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB would join the network as a lead analyst to pair with play-by-play man Kevin Burkhardt someday.
There were reports everywhere in recent months that Brady was being pursued as a broadcaster, which made sense for FOX — among the musical chairs of this offseason, we didn’t know who would be at the top for NFL coverage with Joe Buck and Troy Aikman moving to Monday Night Football.
However, there’s still a question left to be answered: Who’s in for now until Brady retires?
The answer isn’t 100 percent certain, but everyone’s talking about one guy:
Is it Greg Olsen?
In the interim, I would say Greg Olsen would remain the favorite as the lead game analyst.
Fox has two of the next three Super Bowls.

Lots of people are wondering about how this could work if it is
Did not see this coming.
What does that mean for FOX’s A booth now? Will they move Greg Olsen up for the year and then give Brady a year before he calls the Super Bowl?
Can’t wait year to him in the booth with Kevin Burkhardt! https://t.co/ap7GFiwIsq

Honestly, he’s probably gonna be really good at it.
My biggest gripe is ruining the exceptional pairing of Kevin Burkhardt and Greg Olsen. Greg better get paired with one of the S-tier play-by-play broadcasters. https://t.co/fCDtsVi8Lb

Greg Olsen should’ve been with Kevin Burkhardt for life. https://t.co/QGFqWtDmzR

The good news for Greg Olsen (or whoever they have serve as analyst in the mean time) is that it could be 10+ years before Brady takes over. https://t.co/OFvnfay1Ka

Nothing against Brady, but this sucks for Greg Olsen (or whoever Fox's top analyst ends up being this season). You have to work knowing you're getting replaced no matter how well you do. https://t.co/i3OUBKEhDp
