Outside of the Oppenheimer and Poor Things teams, real winner of the 2024 Academy Awards was Ryan Gosling.
The Oscar-nominated actor delivered one of the best moments in the broadcast’s history on Sunday night by performing his big Barbie musical number “I’m Just Ken,” backed by Mark Ronson and Slash on guitar and some of his Barbie co-stars and other Ken dancers.
Gosling brought the Kenergy to the live performance, one where he interacted with the crowd and belted the power ballad that reminded us all that we are, indeed, Kenough.
In a show filled with great moments, this had to take the cake. It’s already an instant classic.
