The Lakers’ season so far has been nothing short of an absolute disaster.
LeBron James is playing incredible basketball, but the rest of the team just hasn’t been able to keep up. That includes their big offseason acquisition in Russell Westbrook.
Westbrook has been so confounding this season. He’s had stretches where he’s looked phenomenal. In those times, he’s playing with joy and looking much like his old self like he did against the Jazz earlier in the week. He was gunning down the floor with so much energy. That’s the Russ we’re used to.
And then there are moments when…he shoots the ball like this.

These moments are just so weird. I mean, he’s literally not catching the rim on these shots. They’re part of the reason why he’s been rumored to be on the trade block for the Lakers.
