OH BOY. WE HAVE OURSELVES QUITE AN NBA TRADE!
The Utah Jazz are sending Rudy Gobert to the Minnesota Timberwolves in a package that includes Patrick Beverley, Malik Beasley, Jarred Vanderbilt, Leandro Bolmaro … and four future first-rounders (reportedly three are unprotected, a pick swap in 2026, and a top-five protected in 2029). AND on top of that, first-round pick Walker Kessler is off to Utah.
WHEW.
NBA players and fans were pretty shocked … but that led to everyone wondering: If THAT’s the price in a trade for a player like Gobert, what’s Kevin Durant going to cost whoever wants to deal for him?
