Davante Adams' cryptic tweet about 'future' is making Packers fans nervous

I just want to check in on Green Bay Packers fans.

You ok? It’s been a tough offseason, hasn’t it?

If you’re feeling stressed out and exhausted by the drama unfolding between Aaron Rodgers, Davante Adams and the Packers, then now would be a good time to look away. Adams took to Twitter to post a cryptic message, which is sure to fueling the fire of rumors around his future with the team.

While you’re probably sitting behind your computer thinking to yourself: Adams’ tweet could mean anything. That’s true. But he also must know that his every move — even on social media — will face intense scrutiny. Perhaps that’s why this tweet had Packers fans freaking out.

A few Twitter users were trying to piece together what Adams meant. Some people suggested it might be related to his comments about Derek Carr, the quarterback Adams played with at Fresno State. Carr made a comment in an attempt to coax Adams into working with him someday.

“It would be a dream to play with him,” Adams said during an interview this week when asked about Carr’s comments. “I’m a Packer now until the point where we make that decision we’ll see what happens.”

And other Packers fans were just deeply afraid. What fanbase wouldn’t be? Green Bay is already in danger of losing Rodgers. It would be devastating to lose him and Adams in a short period of time.

It has not been a fun offseason for Packers fans.
