The 96th Academy Awards took place Sunday, March 10, with movies like Oppenheimer, Poor Things, Killers of the Flower Moon and Barbie earning several nominations each. It was a star-studded affair attended by legendary actors and actresses — and one very good dog, Messi — that celebrated the best in movies from 2023.
The awards show, which started an hour earlier at 7 p.m. ET, was hosted once again by Jimmy Kimmel. There are 41 presenters slated for the event and five performances scheduled.
