NFL Week 13 Awards: Alexander Mattison's twerking TD celebration won the day

Sunday’s NFL action had a little bit of everything, including a game that finished in a tie. I know some people think ties are a hoot but I’m not one of those people and I wish they could find a cool way to decide things if we’re still tied after 10 minutes.

But let’s move on from that Washington-New York Giants draw and look at some fun things that we saw happen Sunday.

Aaron Rodgers had fun saluting the fans in Chicago after leading a come-from-behind win for the Packers.

Mike McDaniel and Tua Tagovailoa had another classic sideline moment.

Oh, and A.J. Brown had a huge day against his former team as the Eagles moved to 11-1.

Let’s now have some more fun and hand out awards for the good, the bad, and the hilarious from Sunday’s action.

The best TD celebration done while twerking: This one by Minnesota’s Alexander Mattison.

Mattison will probably be fined for this but it was worth it because this was hilarious:

Here’s the inspiration for that celebration, by the way:

Most honest sign held by a fan at a game: This sign in Chicago.

I don’t think this happened for the two teams playing in Chicago.

The strangest INT: This one by Cleveland’s John Johnson.

Whoa.

The worst trick play attempt: This one by the Ravens.

This didn’t trick anyone. Yikes.

Best TD run by a QB: This one by Justin Fields.

I mean, how good is this dude!?

The most obvious flop in maybe football history: This one by Cincinnati’s Jessie Bates.

Come on, man!

The most honest thing maybe ever said by a coach: This statement from Mike McDaniel

Cameras caught Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel telling Tua Tagovailoa after a bad play: “I [expletived] that up,” which is something you don’t hear very often from a coach.

The best one-handed catch that didn’t count: This one by Ja’Marr Chase.

How good was this?!

Coolest TD run by a legendary QB: This one by Patrick Mahomes.

Mahomes took flight on this TD run!

Most hysterically bad INT to end a game: This one by Rams QB John Wolford.
