Fans of the New Heights podcast with Jason and Travis Kelce have a chance to see their favorites in person on Thursday, April 11. The charismatic NFL brother duo is taking their show on the road, heading back to the University of Cincinnati for what is sure to be a raucous, fun live show. New Heights Live: We Gotta Talk About It planned on taking over Nippert Stadium, the place both brothers played their home games in college, but weather forced the event indoors to Fifth-Third Arena on campus. Rain or shine, they’ll be back in front of the Bearcat crowd once again.
There will certainly be fun, festivities and incredible guests. Here’s what we know about the event.
When and where is it?
The live show takes place on Thursday, April 11, at Fifth-Third Arena on the campus of the University of Cincinnati. It is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. ET, with the podcast portion beginning at 9 p.m. ET.
Who are the special guests?
We don’t know everyone that will be appearing as a guest on the live podcast — they’re keeping them under wraps — but Cincinnati Bengals QB Joe Burrow and OT Orlando Brown Jr. have been confirmed via social media.
What else is taking place?
If you’ve followed the podcast, you will know about the hideous and oversized golden baby, more affectionately known as the Great Lombaby. Now that trophy will be the centerpiece of what they’re calling the Lombaby Games, featuring University of Cincinnati students.
There will seemingly be a Team Academics — which received a video message from the brothers announcing their invitation to participate — and an opposing team (Team Athletics?). What they’ll be doing we’re not sure, but it will absolutely be fun.
How can you get tickets?
Tickets are available online for non-Cincinnati students. If you’re a student at the university, you can sign up for a lottery for free tickets to the event.
Will the live show be added to the podcast feed?
It’s not yet clear if it’ll be dropped into the regular New Heights feed, but hopefully it will as there will certainly be a lot of hilarious shenanigans.
