Draymond Green’s mom, Mary Babers-Green, has always been one of the most vocal supporters of her son and his team.
When he needed someone to root for them, she was the one doing it. When they’ve needed someone to defend them from harsh critics, she was there, too. Even when Draymond has needed to be criticized, she’s often been one of his biggest critics.
But, man. With the way he’s playing right now? It’s even got her confused about where her son is and what he’s doing.
It’s no secret that Draymond Green is giving us one of the worst performances of his career in these NBA Finals. He was a bit better in crunch time defensively in Game 4, but he’s still a huge liability on offense. And fans have been roasting him for it. “Fans” now include his mom, too, who said she doesn’t even recognize her own son right now.
