Forza Horizon 5 has released and is easily the best racing game of the year, making a huge splash on Xbox Game Pass and beyond. With its blend of arcade-style racing and beautiful visuals, it’s easy to see why so many people love the game. But even players experienced with Forza Horizon games of the past, there are a bunch of new features added here that can seem like a mystery. One of those is gifting cars.

How to gift cars in Forza Horizon 5
Gifting cars to other players in Forza Horizon 5 is fairly simple process, just follow the steps below.
- While connected to the internet and playing Forza Horizon 5, open the main menu.
- Scroll over to the My Horizon tab.
- Select Gift Drop.
- Select the car from your garage you’d like to donate.
- Choose the group of people you would like to donate to – it’s always nice to give a boost to new players.
After that, you should be done. Your car will be donated to a deserving player online. Giving is its own reward.
How to gift cars to friends in Forza Horizon 5
While this seems like an obvious feature to add, you can’t actually gift cars to friends or specific players in Forza Horizon 5.
This is to avoid making a black market for cars, where players could exchange real money for them and then exchange the vehicles in the game. This has become increasingly common in a number of games, so any move to avoid this is probably for the best.
