Is your fantasy football kicker going into a bye week? Or are you one of the many people who roster a different kicker each week based on matchups? Then you’re in luck.
Each week of the 2023 NFL season, BetFTW is bringing you a ranking of top kicker streamers to hopefully give you that edge you need in your next matchup.
Kickers aren’t the most important position in a fantasy lineup, but they can absolutely make or break a game. So, you want to make sure you have a good one. Here’s a look at the top options on waiver wires this week.
1
Matt Gay, Indianapolis Colts (at Carolina Panthers)

After a solid nine-point performance in Week 8, Gay takes the No. 1 spot this week for a game against a Panthers team that hasn’t allowed many points to kickers. The reason is because of how surprisingly potent this Colts offense has been. Expect to see Gay a lot.
2
Ka'imi Fairbairn, Houston Texans (vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers)

Fairbairn is coming off his worst game of the season, though to no fault of his own. The Texans didn’t give him any scoring opportunities against the Panthers. Expect one of fantasy’s best kickers to bounce back in Week 9.
3
Eddy Pineiro, Carolina Panthers (vs. Indianapolis Colts)

Pineiro had his best game in a month last week against the Texans, and now he gets a plus kicking matchup against the Colts, who allow the second-most fantasy points to kickers.
4
Joey Slye, Washington Commanders (at New England Patriots)

Slye was busy Sunday, though most of his kicks were extra points. The one thing that saved his day was the Washington franchise record 61-yarder he made. Confidence should be high going into New England.
5
Cameron Dicker, Los Angeles Chargers (at New York Jets)

Dicker had a big Week 8 with 12 points, and he has a chance to repeat against a tough Jets defense always under a lot of stress because of their inconsistent offense.
