Trae Young is rightfully getting ripped for his terrible Drake and Jay Z take on Twitter

Drake has dropped his latest albumCertified Lover Boy, on Friday, and there are soooooooooooo many takes about it going around Twitter.

But the one that I’d say is getting a lot of attention is from Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young.

His tweets from early Friday after the album dropped are more focused on the legacy of Drake and Jay Z — who appears on CLB — and I’ve got to address them.

Young seemed to think that Jay Z > Drake, although he walked that back a bit in subsequent tweets. So let’s break them all down and I’ll give you my take:

Here's what Young said

Donovan Mitchell wasn't having that

Here’s his response:

People thought Young was trying to troll New York again

After Knicks fans went after him during the first-round playoff matchup against the Hawks, that might be a possibility:

Is there really a case to be made here?

I know I’m an Old, but … NO. NOOOOOOOOO. NOPE.

Look, I really like Drake. I think there’s too much criticism of his stuff, and you can’t argue with his success and popularity and pile of catchy hits.

But Jay Z is a Mt. Rushmore talent. You could argue that Drake could be an all-time great … but better than Jay Z? Never. Get out of here with that. There’s no debate.

UPDATE: Seems like he’s changed his mind!
