Connor Bedard’s casual no-look goal left NHL fans completely mesmerized

Entering Sunday, Connor Bedard had five goals in his last five games, including two the last time he was on the ice, so there was little doubt the Chicago Blackhawks rookie would be adding to his scoring total in a game against the Florida Panthers. His odds to record just a single goal were -330 at BetMGM.

The Calder Trophy betting favorite made good on those odds almost immediately, scoring in the first period before adding another goal in the second for safe measures. But that first goal turned heads for more reasons than betting purposes. Bedard made it without even looking, showing exactly why he was the first overall pick of the draft.

A no-look wrister off a takeaway is just absurd, and it left fans completely mesmerized.
