4 reasons why Kyler Murray could have deleted all Cardinals references off his Instagram

SOUND THE ALARMS! WE HAVE SOME SOCIAL MEDIA DRAMA!

NFL fans everywhere noticed that Kyler Murray’s Instagram account suddenly had just two photos on it … and neither of them had anything to do with the Arizona Cardinals.

There was a Pro Bowl photo and one of him at Oklahoma. That’s it. WHAT COULD IT MEAN, especially after the Cardinals went from the toast of the NFL in the middle of the season to a bad playoff loss to the Los Angeles Rams?

I have no idea. But here are some speculative thoughts on the matter with people wondering the answer to that question:

1
He's thinking about forcing a trade from the Cardinals

This is the one NFL fans want. But … really? Dude has played three years in the NFL, and he’s broken out in a big way with a team that’s on the rise. It’d be kind of surprising if he was like, “NOPE, I’m out!” in Year 4.

2
He's going back to playing baseball for the Oakland A's

Remember, before he was the No. 1 pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, he was the ninth overall selection in the MLB Draft by Oakland. The A’s still have his rights, so … no more football?

3
He's in some sort of Super Bowl ad that involves this "controversy"

That would be some great viral marketing, wouldn’t it? He creates some buzz with these tweaks, we watch the big game and see an ad for Instagram starring him. Minutes later, he republishes all Cards content. Boom.

4
It's his way of restarting his offseason

This is my pick. To wash off a disappointing season, he’s starting all over again and reminding himself that he started as a Heisman Trophy winner …

… and is now a top QB:

Now all that’s left is to restart with the Cardinals and chase a title. See? Poetic!
