Heisman favorite Caleb Williams badly fumbled a snap and still threw a spectacular 76-yard touchdown for USC

There is a reason that USC quarterback Caleb Williams is a favorite to win a second-straight Heisman this fall.

The probable top pick in the 2024 NFL Draft continued to dazzle football fans during his team’s opening home tilt against San Jose State on Saturday on a play that you’ll see plenty of highlights for this week.

On the play, Williams badly fumbled a snap deep in Trojan territory before picking it up, planting his feet and delivering a 76-yard bomb to wide receiver Tahj Washington for an absolutely electric touchdown.

FanDuel has Williams at +500 to win the Heisman again in December, and if he does, the ceremony reel would undoubtedly feature this absurd highlight.

Williams is just one of the better college football quarterbacks in recent memory, and his talent is a big reason that USC is ranked as the sixth-best team in the nation right now. All eyes are on Williams to keep this going.
