The nine-horse field for the 155th running of the Belmont Stakes is all set, with Forte returning as the morning-line favorite at 5-2 odds, running from the sixth post position.
Forte, who was the favorite for the Kentucky Derby before being scratched a day prior to the race, is followed by another Todd Pletcher-trained horse, Tapit Trice, at 3-1 odds.
There won’t be a triple crown winner this year, in a season soured by the death of 12 horses at Churchill Downs over five weeks, but Preakness Stakes winner National Treasure has 5-1 odds to add a second win.
Here’s the rest of the draw for Saturday’s race.
