It’s no secret that Apex Legends is in a rough state. Doubly so for Xbox Series X|S owners, where input lag makes the entire experience borderline unplayable.
There are several known fixes, but it’s all temporary workaround stuff. Respawn Entertainment and Electronic Arts (EA) are aware of the issues and are working on a permanent solution, but it’s been going on for more than a week now. People are furious.
If you want an idea of how dire the situation is, check out the clip below. This sort of input lag would be inexcusable in a single-player title, let alone something that requires lightning-fast reflexes and response time like Apex Legends.

My favorite part is not being able to play the game because you update it and break something (input lag, valk issues, loba issues etc etc) and dont fix it but what you do do is make sure the store works first and formost so you get that sweet sweet coin for your busted game

A call for communication
I have spent hundreds of dollars on Apex Legends. It is broken and unplayable due to input lag for THOUSANDS of xbox owners. Not one update on the fix in almost a week. Is this how you guys treat your customers? How about a refund or an update? @XboxSupport @PlayApex @Respawn

I’ve driven 18 straight hours from San Francisco now through Wyoming on my way to Denver only stopping for gas. And it’s still a more enjoyable experience than Apex Legends with the input lag
