Tom Brady will start at quarterback in the Super Bowl on Sunday in a game against Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Tom Brady played in his first Super Bowl in 2001, when the young, unsung quarterback got the nod and Bill Belichick rode the hot hand to his first win against the Rams.
He has now won six Super Bowls (XXXVI, XXXVIII, XXXIX, XLIX, LI, LIII) and played in nine total Super Bowls — today’s game will be his tenth. The three losses came to the Giants in 2007 and 2011 and the Eagles in Super Bowl 52.
UPDATE: Brady has now won seven Super Bowls, the most all time. The win gives him more personal Super Bowl victories than any NFL team. Seriously.
All previous Super Bowls Brady has played in came with him on the Patriots. This will be his first with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
