It’s been almost two years since LaVar Ball said that he could beat Michael Jordan in one-on-one. And those comments have never stopped being ridiculous.

LaVar never played high-level basketball beyond college, and Michael Jordan is, well, Michael Jordan. We didn’t need video proof to know that LaVar had no chance against MJ, but it couldn’t hurt.

He’s not beating anyone with this jumpshot.

At LaMelo’s high school game with SPIRE Institute this weekend, LaVar took to the court and put on a shooting show for the packed crowd. And by “show,” I mean he missed seven straight shots badly before finally making his eighth attempt.

Yeah, that form needs a lot of work. Maybe the Steph Curry MasterClass could get LaVar’s shot ready to take on Jordan.

That’s his only hope. (There is no hope).
