Dan Hurley has built a machine up there in Storrs, Connecticut, and the UConn Huskies are now back-to-back national champions after running through two straight tournaments without even losing a single game against the spread.

They’re among the favorites to win a title again in 2025, but oddsmakers are giving two other blue bloods (yes, UConn is a blue blood) a better chance at the immediate close of the 2024 season. Duke and Kansas are co-favorites at BetMGM with +1100 odds, closely followed by UConn at +1200, Houston at +1400 and North Carolina at +1600.

The remaining top-10 includes Kentucky at +1800 and Alabama, Arizona, Baylor and Gonzaga all tied at +2000. Keep in mind, Kentucky is in the middle of an unexpected coaching search after John Calipari recently departed for Arkansas.

This year’s runner-up, Purdue, is in the next batch of teams with best odds, coming in tied with Michigan State and Tennessee at +2500. Surprise semifinalist NC State would be a surprise to go deep again next season, with +12500 title odds.
