Remember ChiefsAholic? You know, the Kansas City Chiefs superfan who showed up to games in a KC Wolf costume, but then went missing in late 2022 only for fans to learn he was arrested for an armed bank robbery that turned out to be one of several alleged heists?
Yeah, well that guy, whose real name is Xaviar Babudar, pleaded guilty Wednesday to charges related to those string of robberies. He admitted to stealing more than $800,000 in bank robberies across seven states and using the money to bet on Chiefs games. He could face up to 50 years in prison.
But the story here is Babudar’s lawyer. Because after the hearing, said lawyer addressed the media to explain how Babudar was taking accountability for his actions, and let’s just say he fumbled the message with the most unnecessary football analogy.
I have tried to stay away from ChiefsAholic news but his lawyer's opening comments today are just…

“From the beginning of this case, folks, the government has been blitzing. And Xaviar’s pocket was collapsing,” he started. “But today, Xaviar stepped into the pressure.”
It didn’t end there. Later in the statement, the lawyer said, “If I know anything about Xaviar, and if the Chiefs Kingdom knows anything about the ChiefsAholic, we know that he doesn’t give up. We know that if he stumbled and he fell, he didn’t let his knee touch the ground.”
I’m sorry, what? Are we talking about a bank robber or the NFL’s best quarterback? Fans couldn’t believe their ears.
