Is your fantasy football kicker going into a bye week? Or are you one of the many people who roster a different kicker each week based on matchups? Then you’re in luck.
Each week of the 2023 NFL season, BetFTW is bringing you a ranking of top kicker streamers to hopefully give you that edge you need in your next matchup.
Kickers aren’t the most important position in a fantasy lineup, but they can absolutely make or break a game. So, you want to make sure you have a good one. Here’s a look at the top options on waiver wires this week.

Eddy Pineiro, Carolina Panthers (vs. Houston Texans)

OK, so before you take my advice on Pineiro, I’ll warn you that he’s not having a great fantasy season. Pineiro has a bottom-five points total this season and one of the lowest projections for Week 8. But that’s been more about Carolina’s terrible offense than Pineiro’s ability. Coming out of their bye, in a matchup between Bryce Young and C.J. Stroud, I think the Panthers give him more opportunities to score points Sunday.

Matt Gay, Indianapolis Colts (vs. New Orleans Saints)

Gay has a three-week streak of posting at least eight points, and he has a real chance to extend that to four weeks against a tough Saints defense that will force the Colts to kick more than they want.

Ka'imi Fairbairn, Houston Texans (at Carolina Panthers)

At this point, just expect Fairbairn to make this list every week. I feel like I’ve said this before, but he’s been one of the very best fantasy kickers this season yet remains available in more than 80 percent of Yahoo leagues.
4
Cameron Dicker, Los Angeles Chargers (vs. Chicago Bears)

Since opening the season with back-to-back 10-point fantasy weeks, Dicker is averaging just five points per game. But the Chargers have a plus matchup against the Bears — starting a backup quarterback — which should allow for plenty of possessions and field goal chances.
5
Brandon McManus, Jacksonville Jaguars (at Pittsburgh Steelers)

McManus is averaging a big week every two games, so he’s due for one here. But more than just meaningless trends, Jacksonville’s offense is humming right now, eclipsing 30 points in consecutive weeks. So, even if Pittsburgh’s pass rush keeps them out the end zone, we could see them put McManus in position for a few attempts.
