Aaron Rodgers fantasy managers shared their devastating losses after his injury came before recording a single point

Aaron Rodgers wasn’t expected to be one of the top quarterbacks in fantasy football this year, but if you had him on your team, you probably felt good about your chances.

That was especially the case for the few managers who went into Monday night’s game needing just a few points to start the season 1-0. Rodgers didn’t have to be great — he just needed to play.

Yeah, about that.

From the book of bad beats, the 39-year-old was injured before he could even complete a pass or scramble a few yards. Just four plays into his New York Jets debut, Rodgers suffered what’s being described as a likely Achilles injury. It’s something you hate to hear about anybody, and it’s especially devastating for Rodgers and the Jets. As for those fantasy managers, Rodgers ended the game with the same amount of points he started with: zero. It left several teams on the wrong side of some rough losses.
