The 5 most-bet NFL teams to win the Super Bowl, including Aaron Rodgers' Jets

As we enter the heart of the 2023 NFL preseason, more and more betting action is flooding into sportsbooks. People are betting season win totals, Week 1 games and of course, the Super Bowl. That means we’re getting a better and better picture of the public’s favorite bets for Super Bowl LVIII in Vegas in February.

Will the Kansas City Chiefs win it all again? Will the Philadelphia Eagles make it back? Does anyone want to bet on the Arizona Cardinals?

Here are the five most-bet teams to win the Super Bowl by total dollars wagered at DraftKings Sportsbook:

New York Jets (+1600)

There is always a public following for the Jets, but appearing on Hard Knocks and adding Aaron Rodgers has raised it to a fever pitch. There are high expectations for New York’s lovable losers, who just added Dalvin Cook on offense. The Jets haven’t made the Super Bowl since 1969, but public bettors are betting big money on New York winning it all.

Cincinnati Bengals (+1100)

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase (1) and Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow (9) line up before a play during a training camp practice at the Paycor Stadium practice field in downtown Cincinnati on Wednesday, July 26, 2023.

It looks like Joe Burrow avoided a serious injury in preseason, which is great news for Bengals fans and backers. Cincinnati has the highest number of bets to win the Super Bowl at DraftKings, which makes sense since they beat Buffalo last season and have the Chiefs’ number as well.

Philadelphia Eagles (+650)

With most of the same roster returning from last year’s Super Bowl-losing squad, the public is backing the Eagles in a weak NFC. Jalen Hurts looks like a franchise QB and Philadelphia is tied with Kansas City for the highest over/under at 11.5, so a return deep playoff run is expected.

Kansas City Chiefs (+600)

As long as the Chiefs have Patrick Mahomes, they will have a great chance to win the Super Bowl. The defending Super Bowl champions are favored in all 17 games, tied with the Eagles for the highest over/under at 11.5 and are the Super Bowl favorites. They have the second-most number of bets at DraftKings to win Super Bowl LVIII.

Buffalo Bills (+900)

One of these seasons, it’s going to happen for the Bills. Josh Allen is back, the defense is strong (although a year older) and first-round pick Dalton Kincaid should add another dimension for the offense. Buffalo has the fourth-highest number of bets at DraftKings to win the big game.
