Here's how much you'd have to bet to win $10 on Victor Wembanyama going first in the 2023 NBA Draft

On Thursday night, one of the surest locks in sports drafting history will finally become reality.

French superstar basketball prospect Victor Wembanyama will get picked first overall in the 2023 NBA Draft by the San Antonio Spurs, barring the greatest shock in NBA draft history.

Wembanyama has been touted as one of the next truly great basketball players, and he seemed to know exactly where he was going to wind up once the NBA Draft lottery sent San Antonio the top pick.

At the moment, Wembanyama has -20,000 odds to go to the Spurs as of June 20. It’s just the firmest of locks at this point that the first overall pick in this year’s NBA Draft is set in stone.

If you were to bet on this pick, it would take $2,000 in order to clear a $10 payout. That’s a lot of money to put down on such a small return, but that’s what it’ll take to sniff a win this week with Wembanyama’s draft pick.
