Purdue star Zach Edey played a dominant game against North Carolina State in the Final Four and received some love after his performance.

Following a huge win to earn a spot in the NCAA men’s tournament national championship, the two-time national collegiate player of the year was greeted by none other than Shaquille O’Neal.

While the retired basketball star was not on the broadcasting crew for TNT, he was still at the game and made sure to show some to the young center. He waited patiently and was very classy with his message.

O’Neal said that it was an “honor” to finally meet Edey, who finished the game with 20 points and 12 rebounds.

Edey will play against the winner of UConn and Alabama on Monday for a chance to win the national championship.
