Dan Hurley exclaimed UConn is going for the three-peat during the Huskies' victory parade

UConn men’s basketball coach Dan Hurley is coming off his second-straight championship win with the Huskies.

However, that’s not stopping him from promising even more titles.

During his team’s victory parade on Saturday, Hurley told UConn fans that the team is planning for the three-peat next season. That lofty promise, of course, sent the crowd into a frenzy as a promise of a three-peat often does.

While winning three-straight titles hasn’t happened since John Wooden’s UCLA teams pulled it off in the 1960s, who’s to say Hurley won’t follow in his footsteps?

Well, there are plenty of men’s basketball teams that would probably love to throw those plans out of the window.

However, they’ll have to get through the Huskies to do it, which no team has been able to accomplish the past two seasons. For now, we really may just have to take Hurley at his word for what he’s plotting.
