After today, Verne Lundquist will no longer be the voice of the Masters.
The 2024 Masters Tournament will be Lundquist’s last, as he’s set to retire after an illustrious career spanning 40 years covering the event. Given his prominence in the sport, golfers across the world gave Lundquist his due, including Tiger Woods sharing a classy moment with the famous announcer.

The Masters themselves also showered Lundquist with praise, even going all out with an over four minute video thanking him for his contributions to the tournament. What a career!
